About STORMHAWK

STORMHAWK is a vertical shoot ’em up that challenges players to pilot a fighter plane through a series of carefully crafted missions over the Pacific. Players control their aircraft with simple touch or keyboard inputs, maneuvering to avoid enemy fire and obstacles while automatically firing weapons. The gameplay revolves around chaining enemy kills to build up a score multiplier, adding a strategic layer to targeting and movement.

Beyond the combat, STORMHAWK offers progression with an in-game hangar where players can invest their earned rewards after each mission. Unlocking twelve different planes, each with distinct flight characteristics, allows players to tailor their playstyle and experiment with varied approaches. Additionally, the game incorporates roguelite elements by providing mission-selectable cards that alter gameplay dynamics, ensuring that each campaign experience feels fresh and unpredictable.

With a variety of game modes, including a daily mission that presents the same challenge to all players and a boss rush mode featuring all the game’s bosses consecutively, STORMHAWK caters to those seeking both quick matches and demanding trials. The scoring system encourages careful play and mastery, as chaining kills without breaks improves scores that place players on competitive leaderboards.

STORMHAWK blends classic arcade shooting action with progression and customization, appealing to fans of airplane combat and shoot ’em up games who enjoy both skill-based flying and evolving gameplay challenges.

How to Play

Goal: survive each mission, beat its boss, and land to bank what you collected. Chain kills without missing to raise the multiplier — the score is what puts you on the leaderboard.

Touch: drag anywhere to fly; the plane follows your finger. Firing is automatic. Tap with a second finger to barrel roll — you are invincible for a moment and nearby bullets turn into points. Hold that second finger to slow down and tighten your shot.

Keyboard: arrows or WASD to fly, Z to fire, X to barrel roll, C for the special attack, P or Esc to pause. All keys can be remapped in Settings.
