Supernova: The "Charon" Protocol

About Supernova: The "Charon" Protocol

Supernova: The "Charon" Protocol is a vertical shoot 'em up set in space where players pilot a customizable ship through intense waves of enemy fire. The game’s core challenge is maneuvering carefully through bullet patterns while destroying enemy fleets across eleven distinct sectors, ranging from Earth’s orbit to deep space anomalies. At the end of each sector, players face a formidable flagship boss featuring multi-phase battles that require precise targeting to disable turrets and overcome aggressive attacks.

Between missions, players return to the hangar to enhance their ship by choosing from different hulls, weapons, and support options such as drones, bomb bays, and escort fighters. Credits earned during battles fund these upgrades, allowing players to tailor their loadout to their playstyle. Nine available weapon types evolve mid-combat, bringing strategic variety to how battles unfold.

The game offers three difficulty levels as well as a local two-player mode, providing a cooperative option on a single keyboard. Controls are designed to accommodate both desktop and mobile devices, with automatic saving of progress. Players can expect fast-paced action, tight controls, and a blend of arcade shooting with customization elements. Earning medals and orders by performing skillful feats adds an additional layer of depth during intense encounters.

Supernova: The "Charon" Protocol combines classic space shooter mechanics with modern accessibility, inviting players to test their reflexes and ship-building strategies as they push through relentless enemy waves toward a mysterious final challenge.
