About Undercrown

Undercrown offers a twist on the classic dungeon crawler by blending fast-paced combat with a high-stakes escape sequence. Players choose from eight distinct heroes, each with unique weapons and fighting styles ranging from heavy sword swings to ranged attacks and spellcasting. The goal is to descend through three floors filled with diverse rooms and enemies, overcoming challenging bosses like the Gravewarden and the Maw Mother along the way.

After defeating the final boss, the Underking, the real challenge begins: the entire dungeon starts collapsing around you. Your task shifts to a desperate race to return to safety while avoiding hazards such as falling debris, timed doors, and respawning monsters. The gameplay emphasizes quick reflexes, strategic use of rolls and attacks, and smart choices during mid-run upgrades that influence your character's abilities. These upgrades vary from run to run, encouraging experimentation and adaptation.

Undercrown can be played on different difficulty levels, with each run lasting roughly six to eight minutes if you manage to survive both the descent and the escape. The 3D top-down view provides a clear perspective on the environment and incoming threats, while the mix of action, RPG elements, and dungeon exploration offers a varied experience.

Whether you prefer the brute force of a greataxe-wielding warrior or the quick strikes of a ninja, Undercrown delivers a compact but intense dungeon adventure where surviving the return trip is nothing less than a test of skill and timing.

How to Play

Get down, take the crown, get back out alive.

Desktop: WASD or the arrow keys to move, left-click or Space to attack, Shift to roll, P to pause, M for music.
Touch: left thumb stick to move, attack and roll buttons on the right.

Smash crates and barrels for coins and potions, watch for spike traps on a timer, and roll through anything you cannot out-trade. Kill enough to level up and pick an upgrade. Each new floor heals you and hands you a free one. When the Underking falls, run - the way out is the real fight.
