Syntagma invites players into a puzzle-driven adventure set around discovering ancient temples linked by a mysterious artifact resembling a compass. The game’s main objective involves exploring five unique locations by collecting elemental crystals that activate the compass and unlock the secrets hidden within these abandoned sites. Players navigate through challenging platform sequences where movement rules limit directions to forward, left, and right only, adding a layer of strategic planning to each step.

The gameplay revolves around carefully timing jumps on active platforms to avoid traps and open vaults containing the crystals. Each puzzle requires finding the right sequence to progress while managing hazards that are triggered upon movement. Players must react quickly using controls that support clicking or tapping for platform selection, with additional jump actions designed to evade obstacles at critical moments.

Syntagma blends elements of platforming and point-and-click mechanics within an adventure framework, encouraging thoughtful exploration and timing precision. Two difficulty levels allow players to adjust the challenge to their preference, with the game suggesting the higher setting after initial completion. The combination of maze-like platform restrictions and puzzle-solving creates a unique experience that requires both planning and quick reflexes to master.

How to Play

Controls: Click on a platform with the mouse, tap for mobile, or move the hero with the arrow keys on the keyboard, or press the on-screen arrow buttons for mobile.

Avoid collisions with traps. 1) You can jump over them when moving towards them, or 2) by clicking on the hero, 3) with the spacebar on the keyboard, 4) with a touch button on mobile - this makes the hero jump on the spot at the right moment and allows you to avoid a collision with an obstacle.
