Potion Kitchen

About Potion Kitchen

Potion Kitchen invites you to manage a quaint potion shop where your goal is to craft and serve potions based on your customers’ unique requests. Players receive orders that range from straightforward requests, like a potion to bring warmth or aid sleep, to intriguing riddles challenging you to deduce the right brew. Using a cauldron, you combine ingredients carefully selected from the shelves, then brew potions to fulfill these orders before the customers’ patience runs out. Each successful service adds a new recipe to your growing book, which starts empty and fills only through experimentation and logical deduction—the ingredients in every potion share a common element, allowing for thoughtful problem-solving rather than random guessing.

The gameplay strikes a balance between cozy and strategic, encouraging players to think creatively while managing time constraints. As you progress through shifts, you earn coins and reputation that can be invested in kitchen upgrades, enhancing your ability to mix more ingredients simultaneously or improve efficiency. Potion Kitchen supports various controls, including mouse, touch, and keyboard inputs, making it accessible to different play styles.

This game fits well within the cozy and crafting genre, offering a relaxed yet engaging experience where you get to explore the art of potion-making in a charming shop setting. The calm pacing and inventive riddles provide a refreshing twist on typical shop management games, appealing to those who enjoy thoughtful puzzles combined with light, atmospheric gameplay. Players interested in single-player, relaxing experiences with a magical twist will find Potion Kitchen a thoughtful and enjoyable title to explore.

How to Play

Serve every guest before their patience runs out.

1. Press "Start shift" — the first guest walks up to the counter.
2. Read the order. A direct request names the potion, a riddle describes its effect; the hints below the order narrow it down.
3. Tap an ingredient on the shelf or drag it into the cauldron. It holds two ingredients, or three once upgraded.
4. Press "Brew" and see what came out. An exact match is "Perfect", but any real potion still sells.
5. Press "Serve": the guest pays in coins and reputation, and a new recipe goes straight into the book.
6. Between shifts, spend coins in the shop on kitchen upgrades.

Mouse, touch or keyboard — Space or Enter to brew and serve, C to empty the cauldron, H for a hint, B for the recipe book, P or Esc to pause, M for sound.
