About Picky Parking

Picky Parking challenges players with a unique puzzle that blends logic and careful planning. The goal is to maneuver a set of colorful toy cars so that each occupies a distinct row and column on the board, with no two cars adjacent to each other—even diagonally. Every move consumes fuel, and the challenge lies in using all the fuel allotted to each car while maintaining the spacing rules. Some cars are fixed in place, adding another layer of complexity to positioning the others.

The gameplay unfolds on a grid where players drag or tap cars to move them, carefully considering each step since fuel is limited. Returning a car to its starting point reverses subsequent moves involving that vehicle, allowing for strategic rethink and better fuel management. To ease players into the mechanics, the game offers interactive lessons before moving on to puzzles ranging from easy to hard, providing a gentle learning curve.

Players can undo moves or reset puzzles if they wish to experiment without penalty. When stuck, hints are available, some requiring a brief video watch to unlock, but progression doesn’t depend on them. Controls adapt smoothly between desktop and touch devices, supporting keyboard shortcuts and gestures for accessible play.

Combining elements reminiscent of sudoku and spatial logic puzzles, Picky Parking delivers a thoughtful and relaxing experience focused on precise problem-solving rather than speed or reflexes. Its methodical pace invites players to focus on pattern recognition and strategy in a calm, casual setting. Those who enjoy brain-training and simple, yet satisfying puzzles will find this game a rewarding test of patience and planning.

How to Play

Drag a car to a reachable square, or click/tap a car and then its destination. Each square traveled uses one fuel. To solve a puzzle, use all the cars' fuel, leave exactly one car in every row and column, and keep all cars apart, including diagonally. Cars marked with a lock cannot move.

On desktop, use number keys to select cars and arrow keys or WASD to move. Z undoes a move, R resets the puzzle, H requests a hint, and E opens Settings. On touch devices, use the on-screen controls. Returning a car to its start also rewinds all moves made after that car's first trip. After the free hints are used, watching a video for another hint is optional; you can always keep playing without it.
