Iron Defense is a fast-paced 2D arcade shooter that puts you in control of a turret guarding a scrapyard wall from relentless waves of junk robots. Players use a combination of aiming and elemental powers—fire, ice, and lightning—to slow down or damage enemies, adding a strategic layer to the intense shooting action. Between battles, upgrade your turret, wall, and automated defenses to withstand increasingly difficult waves over a campaign of 100 stages. Afterward, an endless mode challenges you to survive as long as possible with fully enhanced defenses. With simple mouse or touch controls and a blend of action and tower-defense gameplay, this game offers a skill-focused experience perfect for fans of defense and arcade shooters.

How to Play

Hold the mouse button or your finger on the field to fire at the robots. Drag the fire, ice or lightning button onto the field and release to cast it; release on a button to cancel. Abilities use energy, which refills over time, and the + button refills it for crystals. Win a stage by destroying every wave before the wall falls. Spend gold and crystals in UPGRADES between stages. Clear stage 100 to unlock Endless.
